Diplo dir. Wing-Yee Wu

by Dorian Tocker

You know Diplo: DJ, record producer, owner of the record label Mad Decent, and one half of Major Lazer (Bomboclat badman! See Major Lazer’s video for “Pon De Floor” in our Favorites). But you probably don’t know Wesley Pentz. Reader, meet Wesley: he’s a working man; he puts in long hours; he’s probably traveling for business right now. (Wow, this Wesley character sounds like kind of a suit.)

Diplo aka Wesley Pentz

To find out why Mr. Pentz isn’t a suit (and why he just might be the coolest dude around), check out this humanizing documentary-short directed by Wing-Yee Wu and lensed by our friend Andrei Bowden-Schwartz.

The film screened at SXSW this year and the 2010 Stockholm International Film Festival.
